Real-life Tomb Raider and TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year in 2006 (it was a good year for nerds), Wil’s passion for generating creative strategies – with a dose of humor – has always supported his core philosophy: By doing something you love you can remain true to yourself even if the lights go out.

After studying to become an archaeologist, he realized Indiana Jones was not a fair representation of a day in the life and so turned to the world of media. When he isn’t creating scripts, engineering audio or splicing video it is very possible he is rolling dice or slaying dragons on the ethernet.

Having experienced the solitude of being a nerd, he founded d20crit to chronicle the voyages of entertaining pursuits. His continuing mission, to explore rising pop culture, to seek out retro loves and new fandoms; to boldly go where no geek has gone before…
